STRIX User Agreement & Disclaimer
In accordance with its regulatory functions under section 6 of the Monetary Authority Act (2020 Revision), the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“CIMA”) requires regulated entities to submit information via an online AML/CFT survey form which will be used to analyse ML/TF/PF/sanctions risks and monitor compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations. The AML Risk Survey must be completed and submitted through this website which uses the Strix™ Data Collection Management (“STRIX DCM”) software produced and licensed by Financial Transparency Solutions GmbH, Austria.
By using this website, you agree:
- You will not use STRIX DCM for any purpose other than completing the AML Risk Survey as required from time to time. You should be aware of the security risks involved in using the internet; you are therefore responsible for your internet connection and your computer hardware. Additionally, you must have an up-to-date antivirus solution, operating system, and browser when using this website and STRIX DCM.
- You will ensure that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date. You are therefore liable if you disclose false or misleading information in the AML Risk Survey.
- The materials or information on this website do not constitute financial or other professional advice. You should consult your professional adviser if you require advice.
- Access to this website may be suspended temporarily or permanently and without notice to you.
- You are solely liable for the use of your confidential access credentials, the completion of any AML Risk Survey, and more generally, your use of this website and STRIX DCM. Any action that could damage, overload, modify, copy, disable, or cause this website or the STRIX DCM system to fail is prohibited.
- You will be vigilant and will inform CIMA immediately and by any means, upon becoming aware of any malfunction, intrusion, data loss, vulnerability, or irregularity which may or does alter the STRIX DCM solution.
- While we try to ensure that this site is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable, if, for any reason, this website is unavailable for any period of time.
CIMA accepts no liability for any damage or loss sustained by you as a result of a breach or modification of any of your confidential information when accessing or completing the AML Risk Survey, or any damage that may occur in the event that this website or STRIX DCM is maliciously accessed, used, or compromised by a third party. Consequently, CIMA cannot be held liable to repair any direct or indirect damage or loss, of a commercial or other nature, or any effects arising from erroneous, fraudulent, or obsolete information.
Privacy Policy:
To refine the risk-based approach employed, CIMA may process personal data for the purpose of analysing the ML/TF/PF/sanctions risk levels of its regulated entities. All data will be processed in accordance with CIMA’s privacy policy, located here.
