Senior Legal Counsel
Ms Renée Caudeiron was promoted to Senior Legal Counsel on 3 June 2024. In her new role as Senior Legal Counsel, she will continue to advise on various legal and regulatory matters and also provide support to the Acting Deputy General Counsel.
Ms Caudeiron joined CIMA in August 2020 as Legal Counsel (Research & Development) in the Legal Division. Prior to joining CIMA, she was employed by an offshore law firm where she spent a number of years as an associate in the Commercial Litigation department, and advised on contentious and non-contentious matters.
Ms Caudeiron graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with an LLB (Hons) in Law and from the Inns of Court School of Law with a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal and Professional Skills.
She is admitted to the Bar of England and Wales (Inner Temple) and the Bar of the British Virgin Islands (both non-practising), and the Bar of the Cayman Islands. Ms Caudeiron is also a Ceritified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. She is a member of Rotary Central Cayman Islands and a member of the MidCareer Bridge Cayman Committee of 100 Women in Finance.
