RE: Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd. – In Official Liquidation
The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (“the Authority”) wishes to advise the public that on 19 April 2021, Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd. (“Premier”) was placed into official liquidation with Messrs. Jeffery Stower and Jason Robinson of KPMG Cayman Islands appointed as Joint Official Liquidators (“JOLs”).
Messrs. Stower and Robinson were the Joint Provisional Liquidators of Premier as appointed by the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands on 27 October 2020.
In view of the appointment of the JOLS, the Authority has revoked Premier’s Class B(iii) Insurer’s Licence pursuant to section 24(6)(b) of the Insurance Act, 2010 effective from 19 April 2021.
