Project Assistant

The duration of this temporary assignment will be for 6 months.The successful candidate(s) will perform a range of tasks that assist in the recruitment and selection process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will:

• Prepare job advertisements ensuring that they are reflective of pertinent aspects of positiondescriptions and required skillsets for respective positions in the Authority;

• Assist with collating job applications, ensuring that all applications received are relayed to theappropriate repository and sorted for efficient tracking;

• Conduct pre-screenings and background checks to assist with the filtering of candidates forvarious competitions by assessing their aptitude, relevant knowledge, skills, qualifications andcertifications;

• Assist with the preparation of effective interview guides• Assist with scheduling interviews and communications with candidates; and• Participate in other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• An Associates Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or anequivalent certification; and

• Two (2) – Three (3) years’ experience and demonstrated performance capabilities, working in afinancial services entity or recruitment agency, having experience with conducting interviews,reviewing, and assessing suitable candidates;

• Proficiency with writing fluent prose, using correct grammar; professionalism and fluency withverbal communication;

• Knowledge of human resources administrative procedures;

• Sound working knowledge of recruitment and selection procedures;

• Excellent organizational skills to accomplish tasks and projects with minimal supervision; and

• Excellent level of computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
