Prabha Namburi

Chief Strategy and Projects Officer

Mrs. Prabha Namburi is the Chief Strategy and Projects Officer (CSPO) at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), where she primarily provides support to the Chief Executive Officer with CIMA's strategic planning and development process, coordinating and reporting on implementation efforts.

She first joined CIMA in 2014 as Chief Policy & Development Officer and was later promoted to Deputy Head in the Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing Terrorism (AML/CFT) Division. During her tenure at CIMA, she has been primarily involved with financial regulatory matters relating to policy development and has worked extensively in the AML/CFT area to assist the Authority in fulfilling its regulatory functions.

Previously, Mrs. Namburi worked as a Compliance Officer at a local insurance company for two years.

She holds a Bachelors in Law amongst other qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and a Master’s in Human Resource Management. She has also earned various certifications in programming courses.
