The Cayman Islands Government informs industry that a number of legislative amendments and regulations will be gazetted in the next few weeks. It also notes that all associations have been sent copies of these amendments and regulations for circulation to their members.
Given the delays in publishing some changes in the Gazette, firms should pay, at minimum, the 2012 amounts by the statutory deadline. Differences between the 2012 and 2013 fees are due by 15 February. On 16 February, the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority will begin assessing penalties on outstanding annual fees.
