Head - Information Systems Division

Chad MacDonald, a seasoned information technology specialist with over 20 years’ of experience, was appointed to the position of Head of Information Systems Division at the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), effective 3 September 2024.

In his pivotal role, Chad spearheads the implementation of CIMA’s information systems strategy and governance plan. As a senior manager, he is dedicated to driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and delivering effective solutions across all business functions. His leadership extends to providing ongoing support for all IT projects, ensuring seamless and secure operations. Chad oversees a dynamic team of 25+ talented IT professionals.

Before joining CIMA, Chad spent 11 transformative years at Dart People Ltd. where he served as the Innovation Manager, leading digital transformation projects. Chad’s career journey began at Dalhousie University in their ITS department working on integration projects and later moved on to Deloitte as an IT consultant implementing large scale Enterprise Projects.
